What we are doing

We know that too many people and their families are struggling. The rising cost of living significantly impacts our communities, resulting in rising food, digital, and social poverty.

As a result, the disadvantage gap is growing, with many children and young people unable to access opportunities that others enjoy and that should be open to all.
Our charity aims to address the growing disadvantage gap faced by children and young people. We focus on social and environmental contexts, aiming to improve life chances for those often overlooked. By unlocking the power of learning, we strive to transform lives and create opportunities for all.
We want to see ‘what works’ in terms of levelling the playing field for these learners and understand how this learning can drive innovation nationally.
Our projects will focus on three core enablers of prosperity and success for our learners:
• Wellbeing
• Opportunity
• Safety
As well as raising funds and delivering projects for our communities, we will partner with others to develop and disseminate research on what works and play a role as a thought leader for the sector.
Our early fundraising priorities will focus on programmes for our learners, under these themes and more.
Our work will
transform lives through the power of learning.
